Eric began is journey into the world of carpentry at a young age as soon as he was able to hold a hammer. At age 12 for his birthday his parents gave him his very own workbench housed in his father’s wood shop. Being limited to only the use hand tools because of his age, his father’s Stanley #4 hand plane was a staple at his bench early on and commemorated in the logo used for his business. Eric’s passion expressing his creativity through the wood medium continued through high school and into college. After marriage and children, an opportunity came to build a small commission piece in 2016. Wanting to give his sons a similar opportunity to learn a valuable trade Eric founded Robinson & Sons Custom Carpentry. That passion has blossomed into a dedicated carpentry venture. Our mission focuses on creating beautifully crafted furniture tailored to meet our clients' specific needs. Specializing in custom carpentry, our signature service, 'Tree to Table,' transforms cherished trees from our clients' properties into exquisite heirloom pieces. Each project tells a story, combining artistry and sustainability in every creation.
